What passwords do students need to change?

Students must change their PID password before July 1, 2011.  Students who have not changed their password by July 1, 2011 will be not be able to log in until they have changed their password.  The new password will be valid for 12 months from the date of the change.

If for any reason a student has a Hokies ID or Oracle ID then they will be required to change those passwords as well.

How to change your PID password?

Log into your MyVT account at http://my.vt.edu and navigate to "Manage Your Profile" located under the Personal Info tab. After opening the "Mange your Profile" link click "Change Password".  For more information visit he knowledge base at http://answers.vt.edu/kb/entry/258/.

   

Important Warning! Never Send Your Password by Email

Virginia Tech will NEVER ask you to send your password via email. You should not respond to emails that ask for your user ID and password.  Beware of phishing attempts!
